Bitcoin machine in Great Falls

Bitcoin

I’ve heard of Bitcoin machines being installed in places in other parts of the country – but didn’t know we had at least one here in Great Falls.

And I didn’t expect to see it at the convenience store on Smelter Avenue.

Yep – in the Brake Time shop (formerly Loaf & Jug).

I am vaguely aware of what Bitcoin (and crypto in general) is, but never quite understood how advocates believe it might eventually become widely adopted.

And if you’re wondering when the Loaf & Jug became Brake Time – announced a few months ago:

BreakTime Corner Market LLC – also known as “Braketime” – is acquiring 23 Loaf ‘N Jug convenience stores, 14 in North Dakota and nine in Montana, from EG America LLC, according to a report by the Grand Forks Herald.

The folks at the store are always very nice, and the store is quite clean. I’m a fan.
