Welcome to Saturday, frens! Another beautiful, sunny, and hot day – might crack 100 degrees – but don’t fret, we’re just a few days away from a cool-down!
The Photo Of The Day (above) is the Health Food Cafe. It opened at 200 Central Avenue in downtown Great Falls in early 2008, and if memory serves, it lasted less than a year.
I never ate there, so I’m not even sure what kind of food they served – but it was likely “healthy” 🙂
There was some online controversy (FB wasn’t quite a big thing then, but in comment sections of GF blogs, the Trib, etc) about the place – some people thought the photo above was way too risque, and a few people were upset because they believed it was “fat-shaming.”
I enjoyed the retro decor – Audrey and Marilyn, fun posters, Poppin’ Fresh!

The Link Of The Day is the MT Fire Info website. You can see a map of wildfires that are currently (or recently) burning in Montana, along with a few details about each one, such as name, acreage, etc. Not as comprehensive as the ever-useful Inciweb, but a good resource.
The Song Of The Day is the gorgeous and lush “Reasons” from Earth, Wind, and Fire. Just close your eyes and sway to the music…
