Oddfellows Park in Great Falls

Sunday, September 4, 2022

Posted on September 4, 2022September 4, 2022 By David In Great Falls

*cough* A bit hazy and smoky outside, thanks to wildfires in Idaho and Oregon. BUT! It’s about 20 degrees cooler than at this time yesterday, and there is a delightful breeze, so it feels pretty good as of noon. Do any of you actually kind of like the smell – or is it just me?

The Photo Of The Day (top) is that…well, a rather odd-looking fellow at Oddfellows Park! Is it a…clown? A scarecrow?

We visited the park with our grand-daughter today – it’s pretty nice! It’s right on the river along River Drive South.

A “bear” and a “fish” are in the playground equipment, and there’s a funky turtle (concrete?) as you enter the park, along with a seal (concrete?). She loved it all!

The park website says it also has picnic tables, BBQ grills, and a basketball court.

The Link Of The Day is “Today’s Air” – it provides an overview of air quality levels across Montana, along with explanations of health effects of smoky/bad air quality.

The Song Of The Day is “Rumble” from Link Wray and His Wray Men. It’s kind of rebellious 🙂 and was featured in “Pulp Fiction.”
