Another beautiful and hot day for Great Falls! Clear blue skies, a few whispery clouds, and temps heading into the lower 90s again.

The Photo Of The Day above was taken at Hobby Land, which was at 820 Central Avenue in downtown Great Falls for decades.

The place had an amazing variety of crafts, tools, and parts for collectors and hobbyists – everything from model trains to dolls and more – including this:

And Hobby Land had several taxidermied animals perched up high, keeping an eye on customers!

I don’t know why they were there – but it was quite a sight! Check out some pix:

  • Hobby Land in Great Falls

Hobby Land shut down a few years ago and was demolished.

It’s now part of the Lithia auto dealership – which many people suspected was going to happen eventually, as it was surrounded on three side by the dealer.

And the Link Of The Day is for the upcoming Luminaria Walk along the River’s Edge Trail.
