I saw a post on Facebook from someone who heard that Four B’s Restaurant on 10th Avenue South was being torn down.
In the comments, there was some back-and-forth over whether it was actually JB’s restaurant (1322 10th Avenue South) that had closed, or Four B’s restaurant (4610 10th Avenue South) that had closed.
I drove by JB’s today and confirmed: JB’s restaurant has indeed closed permanently.
Well…in theory, it could be a temporary closure, but all signs point to a shut-down – literally.
There is a sign on the door that says it is closed: CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATRONAGE. JB’S MANAGEMENT AND STAFF

And the large outdoor sign says it is closed…

On both sides:

And there were no cars in the parking lot at 5:30 p.m.
I don’t have much to say – the last time I ate there was way back in 2008. I know they had a salad bar that was pretty popular.
As for what might move into the space – don’t know. In the aforementioned Facebook post, there was talk of a Panera, but I don’t know if that is actually in the works, or just wishful thinking.
My wife and I were going to stop in there for breakfast yesterday, (6/16) until we noticed that the parking lot was empty, and the closed sign.
We drove down the road to 4Bs instead.
