Eyes of Great Falls

Sunday, August 28, 2022

Posted on August 28, 2022August 29, 2022 By David In Great Falls

You could not ask for a more beautiful August day in Great Falls! Endless blue skies, a few wispy clouds, low humidity and a high temp in the mid-70s – woohoo!

The Photo Of The Day (above) is one of the latest murals in Great Falls – this one features a pair of eyes. It’s on the side of the Great Falls Gymnastics Academy on 1st Avenue North, as seen from 9th Street North.

There were several new murals “installed” around the downtown area a few days ago for this year’s ArtsFest. These murals – for me – are a mixed bag. Some are really cool, others less so. But I do appreciate the visual variety and color they bring to downtown!

The Link Of The Day is to the Grinders Soups & Subs site. It’s owned and managed by the same awesome team behind the Burger Bunker and the former JJ’s Bakery – and hooray! They announced a few days ago that you can now order and get delivery via DoorDash!

The Song Of The Day is a medley from an amazing singer – Dionne Warwick!
