The American Bar in Stockett has closed, according to their Facebook page.
Apparently the building – which is not owned by the team that operates the bar/restaurant – is being sold.
We visited a few years ago and enjoyed it – good food! – and had hoped to visit again soon.
Maybe it will come back – either in that location or another – that would be cool.
