“Restaurant Gems”

Posted on November 19, 2022November 19, 2022 By David In Great Falls

Over on the /Montana subreddit is a discussion: “What Restaurant in Montana is worth taking a trip for?”

So far, there are a few Great Falls shout-outs – a couple for Roadhouse Diner, one for the Burger Bunker, one for Smoked BBQ – all well-deserved!

In fact, here is an actual photo of me whenever I think of Smoked BBQ:

There’s also a vote for 2Ks Kafe – which sadly closed a few months ago. There’s also a mention of the Rib & Chop House, which Great Falls is scheduled to get soon.

My contribution to the list is not actually in Great Falls, but close enough to count: the Beef N Bone Steakhouse in Ulm. If you’ve never been – definitely worth the short drive! My recommendation is the Tomahawk (pictured up top).

Some of the other recommendations in the thread:

Pekin Noodle Parlor in Butte; Union Grille in the Grand Union Hotel in Fort Benton; Cattle Baron Supper Club in Babb; Nap’s in Hamilton; Sud’s Hut in Helena; Lindey’s Steak House in Seeley Lake (I can confirm awesomeness); Frontier Bar N Supper Club in Dunkirk.

So what do you think? What are some “restaurant gems” in our community?

MORE STUFF!
