What exactly is Rocky Mountain Creamery?
Mike Lenahan posted about it on the What’s Happening Great Falls page and said: “Eat fresh, eat healthy, support local businesses! Rocky Mountain Creamery is just outside the city limits on the Northwest Bypass”
It generated a lot of questions.
Lisa Davis McFarling provided some answers: “It’s self-serve, open 24 hrs, no sales on Sunday, and it’s so delicious!! Regular milk, chocolate milk and coffee milk. I believe there are eggs also.”
It’s at 2743 Vaughn Road – start driving west on the Northwest Bypass, go a couple of miles, and when you see Western Feed Corral on your left, Rocky Mountain Creamery will on your right.
It’s actually part of the KIB building.
It’s actually a small room – maybe about 12×12 feet.
Inside, there is refrigerator case:
And a waste basket and a box to put empty egg cartons:
A framed Bible quote:
Sign on the door says there are no Sunday sales:
It apparently works on the honor system – Lisa also commented: “You get what you need and leave your money in the container.”
And that’s it. I don’t know if it is simply a charitable and neighborly thing, or a religious thing, or maybe a fun side-project of KIB?
I haven’t been able to find anything online about it – no business website, no social media.
Whatever it is, it seems like a nice thing to do.
what are the new construction buildings on Vaughn frontage road just west of ox and sons?
Believe that is the new home of Riverside Cabins: https://riversidecabinsllc.com/
