Feeding a large bison!

Feeding Bison!

Posted on July 30, 2023July 30, 2023 By David A. Sherman

Some pix from July 2016, when some friends invited us to come visit and feed their bison just a few miles outside of Great Falls.

It was amazing! Bison are simply awesome.

And did you know that bison are officially America’s National Mammal? In fact, these photos are from just a few months after the official designation.

Feeding the young bison was cool – they were very mellow.

Feeding the big boys, though – gotta do that from the safety of a large vehicle!

And remember – they are BISON – not buffalo!
