“Family Reunion”

Back in 1987 (or 1986?), there was an unusual family reunion. My kid brother got married in Oklahoma, and the wedding party included my dad, two of my dad’s ex-wives, and his then-current fiancee.

IIRC, everyone was very nice and civil and happy for my brother, so it went well.

My dad’s two ex-wives in this photo were Wife #2 (my mom) and Wife #3 (my step-mom for 10 years).

Dad never married that then-fiancee, for some reason – she was pretty awesome, I’m not sure why it didn’t work out.

But he did go on to marry two more women, bringing the total to five.
