Welcome to Tuesday, frens. Not as smoky as yesterday – a little hotter – sunny and clear. Calling it a win!
The Photo Of The Day is from last night – because of the smoky air, the moon looked positively pumpkin-y! My phone didn’t do a great job of capturing it, but it looked really cool. The smoky air is coming from wildfires far to the west, primarily in Idaho and Oregon – no major fires anywhere near Great Falls.
An update on the Missouri River Diner – they announced a few weeks ago that they were moving to a new location AND changing their name to A & K Diner.
The location was initially reported to be the Lippi’s Kitchen spot at 705 Central Avenue West. For some reason, the location was “scrubbed” from the initial post on Facebook, but now it really is official. The new A & K Diner will open tomorrow:
The fate of Lippi’s? I don’t know. And what’s going to eventually happen to the old Missouri River Diner building? It’s a great location – right on the river, adjoining a fancy new bank and coffee bar.
I suspect that the A & K Diner will do very well in their new location – best wishes to them!
The Link Of The Day is to a daily puzzle – it’s similar to Wordle (which got very boring very quickly), but it involves identifying a movie based on a few still photos. I love solving the ones for movies that I have NOT seen 🙂 It’s called Framed – check it out.
The Song Of The Day is a great 80s pop/rock song – “In A Big Country” by the Scottish band Big Country.
