Let’s kick off the work week with some nice weather, shall we? Talking about 54 degrees at 9:20 a.m. with sun shining and a few clouds but plenty of blue overhead!
The Photo Of The Day is TURKEYS! Finally caught Mrs. Butters and her Little Pats in action yesterday – they were in the grass in our front yard, and then walked across the street and hung out in the neighbor’s yard for about 15 minutes.
Two of the turkeys went around the corner of the neighbor’s house after a few minutes, and the other three just kept slowly wandering across the yard, pecking occasionally.
After a few more minutes, one or two of them began “chirping” – almost seemed like they were calling out to the two that had gone ’round the corner. Then these three slowly followed the same path, turning the corner and heading east.
The Link Of The Day is the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art. It’s a really cool facility, with all kinds of art – painting, sculpture, fabric, and more. Have you been there lately? Here’s some pix of a visit a few years ago:
The Song Of The Day is “The Girl from Ipanema” – it was created by Antônio Carlos Jobim, and performed here by Astrud Gilberto and Stan Getz. Utterly entrancing and lovely.
