What wouldn’t I do for a free steak dinner?

Posted on September 9, 2020September 20, 2020 By David In Great Falls

Received this invitation in the mail recently – a free steak dinner at Cattlemen’s Cut! But there’s a catch…

Yep, looks like a pretty tasty meal – and I feel so exclusive – “by invitation only,” after all…I mean, it’s not like they just sent these mailers out to just everybody, right?

Well, steak is pretty much my favorite thing ever, and they do serve up pretty tasty steaks at Cattleman’s…and a “life without pain” sure sounds enticing – but nah, I don’t want to sit through a sales pitch in order to enjoy a meal.

On the plus side of things – I guess it’s really good news that Cattlemen’s is getting some business from events such as this. I think there was another one a few months ago featuring a different sponsor.

But nah – I’ve only been to one “sales pitch” dinner in my life, back in the 90s in Oklahoma, and it was just awful – awkward, long, and the food was not nearly as good as Cattlemen’s 🙂
