Baylor MHA class of 2002

Blast from my past

Posted on February 25, 2022July 7, 2022 By David In Great Falls

Found this pic from my past – the Baylor University MHA class of 2002! The photo is from (IIRC) June 2001.

Can you spot me? I had far less hair than I do now 🙂 Wow – it feels like way more than 20 years ago…

Some context: I was just six weeks away from being transferred to Aviano Air Base in Italy when this opportunity was offered to me…hmmm… Three years living and serving in Italy versus a (mostly free) graduate degree?

Obviously, as evidenced by the photo above, I chose the education option. It was a challenging year, but worthwhile.

I can’t second-guess my decision – it ultimately led to where I am now, which is The Last Best Place, obvs! – but Italy sure was appealing 🙂
