Kellergeist

Our first visit to Kellergeist for a meal on Saturday! It’s at 300 First Avenue South – the building formerly home to Bert & Ernie’s.

We went mid-day, so the dinner menu was not available – we opted for the sampler platter:

Kellergeist has won the annual Mimosa Showdown for the last three years, so of course we had to try one (basic, not one of the “fancy” ones!):

And if you’re eating in a German-style restaurant, you have to try a huge pretzel!

Interior looks nice and rather festive:

Menu choices:

Our server was very friendly and on-the-spot.

We will likely be back for dinner to try the Wienerschnitzel!

(PS – apparently “kellergeist” translates to “ghost in the cellar”)
