No Porn. No Drag Queens. No Tax Increases.

Billboard on Smelter

…and then there’s this billboard along Smelter Avenue.

“No Pornography. No Drag Queens. No Tax Increases. NO LIBRARY LEVY.”

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised that some people confuse “funding a library” with advocating for pornography and/or funding drag queens…but it’s really disappointing to see that someone actually spent money on a billboard to display such.

Maybe someone can make the case that we should defund the library because it promotes murder – just think of how many murder mystery novels are in there!

As for the fine print at the bottom of the billboard – “Liberty and Values MT” – the team over at WTF 406 has some info.
