Internet service provider TDS is currently building its network in Great Falls, and advertising blazing-fast speeds.
I’m extremely happy with my Starlink service (and backup Spectrum, too!), but naturally have been debating whether to give TDS a spin once it becomes available.
But after seeing the prices for their fastest plans…hmmm.
I’ve been using Starlink for two years – it’s only $110 per month and it basically has been perfect for me.
I can’t imagine that the 2GB, 5GB, or 8GB service from TDS would yield enough “faster!” to be worth the extra cost. And the jump from 1GB to 2GB is pretty steep.
BUT – it’s always nice to know that there is another option!
Definitely not ruling it out…but will see what users have to say once it’s been operational in Great Falls for a while.
