I did it – signed up for TDS Fiber internet service. Locked in a discount price for a two-year contract on the 1GB plan.
When you sign up, they charge a $25 fee to ensure that you are “serious” about being interested in the service – which is refunded on your first service bill.
No word yet on when it will actually happen – maybe within a year? Who knows? They don’t give any indication on their website about a time frame.
Once it’s up and running at home, I’ll compare it to my precious Starlink and find out which is faster and/or more reliable. Starlink has been amazing so far 🙂
And if TDS turns out to be faster/better than our backup Spectrum internet – we will likely ditch Spectrum internet, and use Spectrum just for TV.
Will keep you posted!
