Flocking!

Murmuration is a type of flocking that starlings occasionally “perform,” and it’s utterly fascinating to watch. It’s a really cool word, too!

I’ve only seen it a few times – and on Saturday evening, this was awesome to see. This video is from my deck looking south:

Based on several articles I’ve read, only starlings do this. But wouldn’t it be something to see Canada geese try it? 😀
