Snowy Day - April 12, 2022

Snowy April Day

Posted on April 12, 2022April 12, 2022 By David In Great Falls

Ah, a lovely April snow storm! It started early this morning – pretty light – then subsided, and then came down much heavier in the afternoon.

Officially, Great Falls received about two inches of snow (as of about 6 p.m.) – but the “official” reading is at the airport up on the hill, and doesn’t usually reflect Great Falls proper.

At my house, we got about…four or five inches. Wasn’t too cold, either – mid-20s. BUT it’s going to get colder tonight and tomorrow – single-digits overnight and maybe tomorrow night, too.

The only downside to this wintry snap is that we just bought a neat “solar-powered bubbling fountain” for the deck – set it up on Saturday, looks pretty cool!

But it’s not supposed to be outside if the temps drop below freezing, so we brought it inside for a couple of days. Warmer days ahead!
