We love Jeopardy! To an extreme amount, you might say. We enjoy watching, no matter who the host is or whether there is currently an ultra-champion.
And of course we love watching out for Montana-themed answers and categories!
The last two episodes featured Final Jeopardy answers that were triple-stumpers – which is rather uncommon. Especially when one of the contestants is ultra-champion Amy Schneider!
And I’m humbled to say that I missed both of the Final Jeopardy answers, too…but my wife nailed them both!
Courtesy of the good folks over at The Jeopardy Fan, here are the two triple-stumpers:
Here’s the one from Tuesday, January 11, in the category Broadway Musicals: Each in a show that ran more than 2 years, Ethel Merman & Sarah Jessica Parker played 2 different characters with this first name.
And here’s the one from Monday, January 10, in the category 19th Century Notables: On his deathbed in France in 1890, he told his brother, “The sadness will last forever”
For the Broadway answer, well…I totally forgot that SJP had been on Broadway when she was much younger, and blanked on any title featuring Merman.
For the history answer, I was racking my brain in the wrong field – trying to come up with a political figure.
Here’s a look at some recent Montana-themed answers (+ bonus WoF!):
