In Distress

Happened to come across this on Friday evening – looks like someone was threatening to jump from the 10th Street bridge.

Fortunately, police officers responded quickly, and it looked to me like they managed to get to him and prevent him from jumping.

There were six police vehicles along the road on the north side of the river, and an ambulance stationed a few hundred yards away keeping an eye on everything.

No idea if the man was depressed, on the run, or if it was somehow accidental – but I’m sure glad the officers were there to help.

I hope the man gets help and feels better. And thank you, as always, to our police officers.
