Montana On J! (kind of)

Posted on July 15, 2024July 15, 2024 By David A. Sherman

Montana was referenced on Jeopardy! last week – but not as an answer or a clue!

This time, it was a contestant anecdote – the segment after the first commercial break where each contestant gets to introduce him or herself, or – in the case of multi-day champs – provide a usually amusing snippet of his or her life.

Last week, Isaac Hirsch – who is quite an impressive multi-day champ and one of favorite contestants in quite a while – was talking about his part-time gig as a stand-up comedian.

And he told Ken that he once performed for the Montana Air National Guard!

I think his performance happened at a Voyagers game, but he didn’t specify when it happened.

Isaac said that the microphone wasn’t working, so his performance was…well, it did not go well.

“Nobody could hear. It was pretty brutal. It was a pretty brutal gig,” he said.
