Welcome to Wednesday! Sigh..another smoky and hazy and overcast day, but like yesterday, not too hot – we may not even crack 70 degrees. I miss seeing the sun and clear blue sky!
On a more whimsical note, the Riverview turkeys are doing well! Tim shared a video this morning – Mrs. Butters’ babies are growing up so fast *sniff*!
The Photo Of The Day (up top) is the new Independence Bank building along River Drive North near 9th Street. The photo is a few weeks old – the bank opened several days ago, and so did True Brew! I’ve been through the True Brew drive-through a couple of times – as expected, excellent service and smiles!
The bank is hosting an open house on September 21: “Tour our beautiful building, sign up for prize drawings, and enjoy food and beverages with us! With just two weeks away, we couldn’t be more excited to meet you.” I am seriously tempted to open an account there just because I like the location and because they have a coffee shop!

The Song Of The Day is “Carnival” by The Cardigans. They are best known for “Love Fool,” but they’ve got plenty of good tunes. This is my favorite.
