Happy September, everyone! The first of the four “-ber” months – hooray! Beautiful day on tap, but it’s gonna be a hot one – and even hotter on Saturday – oof, triple-digits. A slight bit of haze in the distance looking south/southeast, possibly because of a relatively small wildfire down near Meagher County. So: any bets on whether we will get snow in Great Falls this month? 😀

The Photo Of The Day (above) is a really cool mural that I saw in May 2012 – it was painted on a fence in a residential alley, somewhere near or a just a bit east of Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, if memory serves. It’s gorgeous!

The Link Of The Day is this “mile marker map.” Whenever someone references a mile marker in Montana, it’s likely that most people don’t know exactly where that it. For instance – a news report might say a crash happened at “mile marker 301 on I-15.” A good news report will be more specific – and hopefully even include a map! But if they don’t, just click the mile marker map and scroll around and then zoom in to find the mile marker in question.

The Song Of The Day is “Good Vibrations” by the Beach Boys. This song is truly magical – timeless – beautiful – haunting – evocative. Really, adjectives just aren’t enough.
