Anyone in Montana and specifically Great Falls who watched the 2022 season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” likely was cheering for Bosco (Chris Constantino), who hails from Great Falls and now lives in Seattle.
Bosco was the first-ever contestant from Montana on the show, and represented the Treasure State VERY well – finished in third place, which is amazing!
I am not an expert on drag queens, but my wife is – she’s been a fan for decades – and she was seriously impressed with Bosco from start to finish on the show. My wife is a bit biased, though – she actually taught Chris when he attended middle school here in Great Falls.
And as noted, I am not an expert – but have learned and watched enough via osmosis from my wife to recognize that Bosco is a GREAT drag queen. Great look, sharp wit, and great moves (and not overly snarky or mean-spirited, which is how some queens make their mark).
Among Bosco’s highlights during the season, according to a fan wiki:
- Bosco is the first ever queen to participate in three elimination lip syncs without getting eliminated.
- Bosco is the first queen to win three main challenges on her season.
And during the season finale, Bosco “The Demon Queen Of Seattle” gave a shout-out to Great Falls (which isn’t exactly exotic 🙂 )
