Brrrr – it’s a bit brisk outside today! Right now it is 46 degrees and overcast. There’s even a little bit of snow falling at higher elevations west of Choteau!
Yesterday in Great Falls it was 44 degrees colder than it was on Wednesday 🙂 Yes, we’re going to warm back up after Saturday, but this early hint of Autumn is quite delightful!
The Photo Of The Day (top) is the sign announcing that Great Falls will have a THIRD Taco Bell – soon we’ll be in the Big Leagues! We don’t need no stinkin’ Olive Garden or Red Lobster – we’re gonna have count ’em ONE TWO THREE Taco Bells! 😀
There is a TB at 1901 10th Avenue South – it was actually torn down and re-built a few years ago, and looks pretty nice. And there’s one at 1601 3rd Street NW, which also got a renovation a few years ago.
This new TB is being built on the far east side of 10th Avenue South in the parking lot of Walmart – right next to Panda Express.
Panda Express, BTW, plans to open a second location – this one on the NW side of town, in between Jersey Mike’s and the Verizon store on 3rd Street NW (where the old J Bar T once stood).
The Link Of The Day is to The Western Word. Jackie is one of the OG bloggers in Great Falls, offering perspective and commentary on political and social issues regarding Great Falls and Montana.
The Song Of The Day is “Quiet Village” by Martin Denny. Arguably the most popular, well-known of the “exotica” slash “lounge music” tunes.
