Welcome to Friday! Weather-wise, pretty much the same as the last few days – sunny and hot. Tomorrow may top 100 degrees – eek.
The Photo Of The Day (above) is a house in Great Falls that is adorned with pro-Trump and 2A signs.
I don’t recall ever seeing such a “political” house in Great Falls. The closest thing is this one from 2008, which still kind of baffles me – “mother of the United States of America” – huh?
I’ve never quite understood political signs (of any type) posted in yards, along fences, in corner lots, etc.
I suppose they are good reminders that an election is coming up – but do they ever change a person’s mind about who or what to vote for or against?
The Link Of The Day is the “crash report website” from the Montana Highway Patrol. It lists all current/recent incidents that MHP troopers have responded to, notably crashes, but also reports of drunk drivers. It provides the location, date/time, and brief blurb of what the incident involves.
The Song Of The Day is “(Might As Well_ Go For A Soda” from Kim Mitchell of Canada. It was minor hit in the U.S. back in 1984, and it’s a fun song with a driving bass line. As a non-drinker, I’ve always appreciated the (partial) meaning of the lyrics, including this: “Might as well go for a soda, Nobody hurts and nobody cries; Might as well go for a soda, Nobody drowns and nobody dies.”
Love yer stuff David.
Howdy, Art! Thanks! Hope all is well in your world (and belated happy birthday!)!
