“War Of The Horses”

Over the last two years, we have started watching “Wheel Of Fortune” every weeknight right after “Jeopardy!” Sometimes the contestants blurt out answers that are not right, but can be humorous – as seen last night, when someone called out “War Of The Horses” for a puzzle in the category of FILMS. It was hilarious – we had to rewind to watch again!

The answer was “War Of The Worlds.” But “War Of The Horses” just almost sounds like a movie that could happen!

And of course, it’s easy from the couch to mock contestants who blurt out such silly answers – but I have no doubt that the pressure while actually appearing on the show would likely result in me shouting out some pretty nonsensical answers, too!

Also – after not having watched “Wheel” for many, many years, I was surprised to find out that contestants are now given “free” letters (RSTLNE) to use for the bonus/final puzzle, and then are able to select four more letters.
