Bye (downtown) Hardee’s

Awww, this is sad – the downtown Hardee’s has closed permanently. Sign on the window tells people to visit the one on 10th Avenue South near 26th Street.

Not much of a fan of their burgers – which is sad, because they look really good in TV commercials! – but I do enjoy their breakfast choices. Mmmmm…their biscuits are awesome! And their chicken strips are darn good, too.

And speaking of their commercials – their smiling star (“Happy” ?) is just adorable.

UPDATE: Carrie said in the FB comments: “I hope they move the manager, Justin, to 10th Avenue South. He’s a hard worker and good guy!” Which reminded me that the drive-thru crew at the downtown Hardee’s was always super-nice and friendly whenever I visited!

And Kelly added: “It was really sad that they tore down a fabulous historic building to put it in and now we’re stuck with the ugliness. 😪”

And from Lila: “Sad! It is a great site for something to energize downtown Great Falls!”

So: what do you think would be a good use for that space/building?
